The Huron County Ice rink is provided by Huron County for the use of youth and adults during the winter. The hockey program is managed by the Huron County Hockey Association. The HCHA is affiliated with USA Hockey and Michigan Amateur Hockey Association.

Hockey Tournament Finalists
The HC Spartans (Huron County Spartans) in the PeeWee division went to the Rock-n-Roll Hockey Tournament in Cleveland Ohio on March 26-28th. The Spartans defeated the EYHA Penguins from Columbus Ohio 5-4 in game 1, defeated the Johnstown Warriors from the Pittsburg Pennsylvania area 4-1 in game 2, defeated the Rochester Sabres from Rochester New York 5-1 in Game 3. With a 3-0 record in the tourney they played the Johnstown Warriors of Pittsburg for the championship game and lost 3-2 in a physical hard fought game.
